The Man Who Invented Fidel

The Man Who invented fidel should be re-titled to the man who does not apologize for misleading it's liberal readers. The book should have been a critique of Matthews and his Rosy Typical Liberal view(a supporter of the Communists in Spain-As that's what The Loyalists were),but don't expect that from Anthony DePalma(Nytimes as well,or as we Cubans call it TASS),the book is an apologetic for Phony Journalism.

[[ASIN:B0006DBP3C Correspondent in Spain,]] Veteran New York Times correspondent Anthony DePalma has written a history book that could not be better timed for the future - the future of Cuba and the future of U.S.

Now that it seems likely Castro's regime is finally waltzing through its twilight years in Cuba, this book provides a timely look back at how it all started. It seems reports of his death were greatly exaggerated - back in 1957.
